Ring Size Guide

Ring Size Guide

Before you begin taking your measurements, pick the finger on which you want to wear your ring. The fingers on your dominant hand tend to be larger than those on your non-dominant hand, so keep that in mind when measuring your ring size.

Ensure that your finger is at its normal size before taking a measurement. Cold weather can cause your fingers to shrink a bit, while heat or water retention caused by food, medications, or illness can cause finger swelling.

Ring sizing tips

Here are a couple of tips on choosing a ring size based on the ring’s design/style.

Large statement/cocktail rings: Keep in mind that broad/thicker ring bands (larger than 6mm) will fit tighter. It is better to choose half a size up when purchasing a thicker band, for the ring to be comfortable.

Stacking rings: When you buy slim stackers ensure a comfortable fit by picking a snug-fitting ring size (measure the finger you choose to wear the ring on).

How to determine your Ring Size

Determine what your ring size is by measuring your finger or comparing one of your rings with our printable ring size chart: two practical and easy ways to find the perfect fit.

Regardless of the measuring method you choose, we recommend selecting a ring size that can be easily put on and taken off your finger. If your ideal fit falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one.

Use a ring to find your size

Take one of your rings that fits well on the finger you plan to wear your new COLIBRI ring on, considering that engagement rings and wedding bands are traditionally worn on the fourth finger of the left hand.
Print the Colibri Guide page making sure the “Scale to fit” option is unchecked in the print dialogue box. Use a ruler to check that the Ring Size Guide is scaled to 100%.
Now place your ring over the circles from Ring Size Guide to determine which one matches your size. The inside of the ring should exactly match the circle.
